GOLF

Golf is a precision club and ball sport, in which competing players (or golfers) use many types of clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a golf course using the fewest number of strokes. The game is played on golf courses, each of which features a unique design, although courses typically consist of either 9 or 18 holes.

Our season starts in June and goes until mid-August. A local competition is in July or August and the State Competition is mid-August. Practices occur on Tuesday nights at Island View Golf Club. We have Wild West polo shirts available for purchase. Athletes should bring their own clubs. The team may have some clubs for the athletes to borrow. Please wear tennis shoes. Local competition and the state competition.

Two of our athletes have been at Nationals!  One of our athletes is proud to have birdied a hole!
