Swimming is one of the most popular sports in the world. Unlike other sports, swimming is a life skill that is taught, first, to ensure safety and, secondly, for sports and competition purposes. Aquatics covers a great variety of swimming skills, from short sprints to longer events and relays, ensuring that an athlete can find the right fit for them.

Our season starts in January and goes until mid-March. We have an Area Competition in mid February and State Competition in mid-March. Athletes provide their own swimsuit and towel. Athletes may also have goggles and a swim cap if they choose. If they require a life jacket, they must purchase a certified life jacket.

From individual to relay

There is an event for everyone from athletes who need assistance (through a flotation device and/or an assistant in the water) to more independent athletes who can compete with a variety of strokes and longer distances. No matter the skill level we can find a place for any athlete.

There is a wide array of events our athletes can participate in. We can help find the right event to match each athlete's strengths from freestyle, breast stroke, to assisted swim. Click below to see all the swimming events.
